The grounds consist of a chateau, a barn and a granary. In the core there is a late Baroque chateau building and a Baroque granary. The interiors of the chateau have been completely adapted, without original details.
The village of Vidlákova Lhota is located 4 km northwest of Benešov. It was first mentioned in 1409. In 1654 the whole village was acquired by the Prague Chapter. In 1718, Ferdinand Schönpflug bought Vidlákova Lhota from the chapter and built a two-storey chateau. It remained in the possession of his family until 1744, when it was annexed to Konopiště, with which it shared the same fate.
The chateau is a simple one-storey building with a rectangular plan standing on a slope below the farm. The building is covered with a mansard roof, which is decorated with a hexagonal turret. The chateau is now privately owned and not open to the public.
