The nature trail has entirely 10 stops. Leading from Divišov over the Vrcha hill, Měchnov settlement around the Brtničák pond, the Český Štenberk castle to the village square at Český Šternberk or the other way round.... You will learn a lot about hunting, the Jewish religion, the nature around Divišov, agriculture or the Český Štenberk castle. The entire length of the trail is not even 7 km and you can walk it in 2-3 hours. On the journey, you will be accompanied by a figure of the knight Jan Kryštof Šice of Měchnov.

This knight lived in the Divišov area allegedly in first half of the 17th century. Fragments from his diary will help you to feel the ancient times and to learn from the history as interpreted by the basic school pupils.
This route was forgotten already long time ago but pupils from the Basic school in Divišov gave a new meaning to it.They prepared quiz, contest or several questions for every table. If you want to write down your answers, pick up working sheets in the information centre situated in the municipality building at the Český Šternberk square or in the Divišov museum, situated in the synagogue building. You can check your answers at the same places. (in any case do not write the answers on the panels!).
This route is suitable especially for families with children as one- day trip. There is no demanding terrain, apart of that there are benches for rest installed. The refreshment possibility is at the U Rybiček restaurant for drivers – here you can end the journey. Or you can wait for a bus back to Prague on the highway pull of. The other restaurants are in Divišov or Český Šternberk.
